Tone Tubby 2x12 loaded AlNiCo cabinet
The 2x12, 1x12 and 2x10 for guitar we use 3/4" solid Pine. These grades only allow
for very minor defects, not the large knots you see on boards from home centers and lumberyards. The baffle is Baltic Birch.
A Brown deals directly with an excellent mill. The construction is 1/4" finger joints using a type 2 PVA adhesive
that is highly moisture resistant. The cabinet is vintage in design and utilizes a semi-open back that is a perfect match
for the "Tone Tubby" speakers. These cabinets are hand made and are very harmonic. Our standard color cab is wraped
in green vinyl with a gold grillcloth. Other color vinyl and grillcloth options are available and are listed. The Tone Tubby
cabinets are made to order. Please allow 3-4 weeks build time. Choose from 4,8, or 16 ohm load under special instructions
at checkout.
