The Deja Blue Custom Classic is built on a vintage platform
with modern day conveniences. Think of a Tweed Deluxe with more headroom. The
DB is a Class A push/pull amp with a parallel filament circuit for the vintage tweed era tone we all know and love, at
a quieter operating level.
The
controls are simple, the sound is amazing. With a single tone control you get a full spectrum of frequency response. The tone
control features a pull/deep switch for enhanced bass response. Volume features a pull/bright switch for enhanced high frequency
response.
The Classic/Hi power switch enables you to achieve a higher or
lower operating voltages, The HI poewer setting increases the sonic headroom of the amp. The classic setting gives you
a browner tone. The line out feature allows you to run the amp as a preamp into another power amp or plug right into the mixing
board for gigging volume levels. Note: This amp is a loud 18 watts due to the circuit efficiency and the transformers, speakers
etc. You could gig without the line out.
