Brian at Wholetone music is the best. I have been a gigging & recording musician for
over 30 years
& have had a lot of gear worked on. I have trusted Brian with my all original
'61 Stat, which is now even
more jaw dropping, my swamp ash 1952 Telecaster a, Gibson custom
shop '62 Epiphone Crestwood and several
others. He also completely refurbished my '65 Twin, (not a reissue),
and the night I returned with
it, one of best jazz players in the country used it at a jazz festival & proclaimed it the best
one he'd heard
in years & offered me big bucks for it on the spot. I respectfully declined. He completely dialed up a
Tweed
Blues Deville, 2 SVT's, & did some small work on my Carr Slant 6v.
It's always done right
for reasonable prices & he is a great guy who is very generous with his time
and expertise. I am not in
any way affiliated with Brian but wanted to write this review because
he is so deserving. He will
definitely continue to be my "go to" guy for guitars & amps. Del McCain

Hey Brian, I've had these 10" Tone Tubby speakers in my 1965 Vibrolux Reverb for five days now and
they sound awesome!. They are unlike any other speakers I have. I did the a-b thing with the original Oxfords that were in
it and then two mid-sixties Jensen gold label C10Ps. Both sets of speakers are great sounding but the Tone Tubby 10s were
by far, in my opinion, the best. Thanks for the good price, the break in service, and the fast shipping!

great cone! really, a great tone and the San Rafael Tone Tubby really changed the sound of my Deluxe Reverb significantly...I
tryed it with three different guitars (1973 Tele; 1973 Gibson LP; 1999 Stratocaster) and they all sound great: it cut off
the high end in a smooth, sweet way...great low tones and harmonics...all this, at middle-low volume....now I have to wait
to crank it up to hear the difference with the others speaker (I have a 1965 Utah, 1961 C12N) and it seems to perform better...

Hi. The TAD tubes are awesome.
Put on a Bogner Metropolis and a Matchless Lightning. Both amps sound much better note definition and sensitivity. Replaced
the JJ/Telsa....Thanks, Mariano
